💖 AI No Threat to Healthcare Careers, Survey Says

According to the most recent MLIV Pulse survey of 678 Bloomberg News readers worldwide, careers in medicine are less likely to be influenced by AI in the long run than those in technology or finance.

Under the poll, firms hiring now value communication skills more than hard skills such as data analysis and coding.

Furthermore, healthcare was recognized as the industry with the highest employment chances for young people graduating from high school and the professional route least likely to be displaced by AI for kindergarten students.

The study also asked about starting base salaries for finance positions, the value of a college degree, and financial support for children after graduation.

⚠️Google CEO Sounds Alarm on AI Risks, Calls for Strong Regulation

Sundar Pichai, CEO of Alphabet Inc. and Google, has underlined the importance of solid regulation to avoid the negative repercussions of artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

In a recent 60 Minutes interview, Pichai stressed that the effort to adopt AI must be carefully measured, considering the technology's potential for harm if misused.

Pichai also emphasized the necessity of responsible organizations exercising caution when deploying AI and building social regulations to limit risks, particularly regarding deep fake videos.

While Google has been a pioneer in current AI development, Pichai claims that the company's pace of deploying the technology has been cautious and circumspect.

🤔⏰ Could ChatGPT Have Arrived Earlier Without Google's Monopoly?

The US Justice Department believes that Google's monopoly on the search industry has delayed inventions like ChatGPT by years.

In a hearing for Google's antitrust case, the Justice Department's lead lawyer, Kenneth Dintzer, stated that Google's search dominance had prevented other competitors from offering alternatives and that the release of ChatGPT and other similar technologies could have occurred sooner if there had been real competition.

Google has asked to have two antitrust charges against them dismissed before a September trial.

However, Mehta, the supervisory judge, is due to rule this summer and could narrow or reject the cases entirely, but this is unlikely, given the issues raised during the hearing.

🔎AI Outshines Taylor Swift in Google Searches for 14 Weeks Straight

In line with Google Trends statistics, more individuals searched for ChatGPT than Taylor Swift for 14 weeks straight, demonstrating a growing interest in AI among the general population.

This interest in AI allows companies to develop new products that use this technology.

People are interested in trying new AI technologies to assist them with chores such as email, homework, music composition, graphic design, data analysis, and even plumbing.

This interest in AI is comparable to the euphoria surrounding the launch of the iPhone app store in 2008, which triggered a quest for software that could improve our lives.

Startups may recruit millions of new consumers eager to use the software in novel ways by developing AI-powered solutions that satisfy this curiosity.

📚 Doctrina AI: The AI Study Buddy

Doctrina AI, an artificial intelligence application built on OpenAI’s strong GPT-3 language model, aims to assist students and children in studying more effectively and adapting to the specific challenges of distance learning and online education. It is a valuable tool that helps students write essays, quizzes, and dialogues while correcting grammar.

💡 What Is Overfitting?

Overfitting is a significant problem in AI. It arises when a machine learning model is overly complicated and specialized to the training data, resulting in poor performance when exposed to new, previously unseen data.

The model essentially "memorized" the training data rather than learning the underlying patterns and relationships within the data.

This can result in incorrect predictions or classifications based on new data, and the model may not generalize well to real-world scenarios.

Overfitting can be avoided by simplifying the model, lowering the number of features, expanding the training data set, or employing regularization techniques.
